Product Management: Grouping of LCA Results
Standard: A product can be a single LCA result.
Example: A standard product.
Bundles: A product can correspond to multiple reference of the same LCA result.
Example: A bundle of 3 t-shirts (3 times the LCA result of the t-shirt plus packaging for the three).
Multi-items: A product can be the sum of multiple different LCA results.
Example: A multi-element kit consisting of a baby body suit, hat, and socks (each with its own LCA result plus packaging).
Multi-sourcing: A product can be a weighted combination of multiple LCA results in the case of multi-sourcing.
Example: A t-shirt where 30% of the purchase order’s dyeing is done in France, 40% in Italy, and 30% in China.
⊙ Note: For bundles and multi-itemsproducts, ensure that packaging is created in the Packaging Library beforehand.
